More particularly, it is concerned with a light-sensitive material processing apparatus which is capable of processing a large number of light-sensitive materials of the same or different sizes at one time in a simple manner.
In a conventional apparatus for processing a light-sensitive material, the operations of printing on the light-sensitive material are effected with a printing head in the same manner as in the ordinary printing apparatus. Accordingly, it is necessary to prepare a plurality of different size printing heads in correspondence with the respective sizes of the light-sensitive materials to be processed. As a result, a large number of heads must be prepared, the storage of the heads is troublesome, the assembly of the heads is troublesome, and the light-sensitive material processing apparatus as a whole becomes large. In a large-scale light-sensitive material processing apparatus, the printing heads must be reciprocated and maintained so that the heads are susceptible to damage. It is therefore impossible to decrease the printing time.
